On July 17, the University of Natural Sciences announced the threshold score to ensure input quality (landmark) of the two methods of considering the 2025 high school graduation exam scores and the 2025 competency assessment exam scores.
For the method of considering the scores of the 2025 high school graduation exam ( Method 2), the floor score of the school's majors ranges from 16-24 points (including both plus points and priority points).
For the method of considering the scores of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam ( Method 3), the floor score of the school's majors ranges from 600-850 points (including both plus points and priority points).

In 2025, the University of Natural Sciences plans to enroll 4,455 students for 31 majors and groups of majors in standard programs, English-language enhancement programs and advanced programs according to 3 admission methods:
Method 1: Direct admission, priority admission according to the regular university admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; Priority admission is given to direct admission, priority admission is given to the regulations of VNU-HCM; Admission is based on the results of international foreign language certificates (English) combined with high school academic results for advanced programs and English-language enhanced programs.
Method 2: Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.
Method 3: Admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam organized by VNU-HCM in 2025.
