In 2 days, June 16-17, 4,842 candidates from all provinces and cities flocked to Hanoi to participate in the aptitude test for admission to Hanoi National University of Education in 2026.
Ha Thi Minh Nguyet (Son La) traveled more than 200 km to participate in the aptitude test for admission to the Preschool Education major. Because the exam took place during the week, her relatives were all busy with work, Nguyet took a bus to Hanoi alone.
She wore traditional Thai ethnic costumes with the desire to send a message: Ethnic minority students also have the ability and aspiration to study and develop in big cities.
I hope that after graduating, I will return to my hometown to work to be close to my family. But if I cannot find a suitable job in the locality, I am willing to return to Hanoi or big cities to work at private schools, pursuing a preschool pedagogy career" - Nguyet said.
Bui Thi Le Quyen - a student of Lac Son Ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary and High School (Phu Tho), also wore a traditional Muong costume to take the aptitude test for admission to the Preschool Education major. Quyen plans to use high school graduation exam scores combined with aptitude test scores to apply to Hanoi National University of Education this year.

Accompanying her to the exam site were her older sister and younger brother. Quyen's older sister is a 3rd year student, majoring in Physics Pedagogy in English, Hanoi National University of Education.
My older sister is an inspiration, one of the motivations for me to pursue the path of pedagogy" - Quyen said.
Carrying a passion for sports from high school years, Nguyen Thi Hai Yen from Luc Yen district (Lao Cai province) is also present in Hanoi to take the aptitude test for Physical Education.

I want to study pedagogy to reduce the burden on my parents. My family is also quite hard-working, so being supported with tuition fees is a great advantage" - the female student expressed.
Although possessing a smaller physique than many other contestants, she does not see it as a barrier on the journey to conquer her dream of becoming a physical education teacher.
Passionate about sports since childhood, during high school, Yen was repeatedly selected by the school to participate in tournaments and once won the first prize at the provincial level in 100m athletics.
This achievement also becomes an advantage for me to participate in admission according to the method for candidates with sports achievements.
I want to study and work in the field I love, so I will try my best for this exam" - Yen said.
