Parents proactively buy books for their children from the beginning of summer
This is the second year that all levels of education have implemented the new general education program, with a stable list of basic textbooks.
Mr. Pham Van Thang - a parent whose child is preparing for grade 2 at Dang Tran Con Primary School (Hanoi) - said: "As soon as the school announced the book's name, I searched for information online. The choice is quite favorable because the school clearly states the list of each volume".
According to Mr. Thang, parents can now buy textbooks at schools, large bookstores or order online according to the specific categories provided by the school. Parents' proactive learning contributes to ensuring that their children have adequate learning materials right from the first weeks of school.
"Last year I bought it late, and only had it after the opening, which was very inconvenient. This year, I learned from experience and bought early to feel secure" - Mr. Thang shared.
Ms. Nguyen Thanh Huyen - a teacher at Nghi Kim Primary School (Nghe An) said: "Since the beginning of the summer, the school has organized a review of each class's teachers, made a list of students and specifically notified parents about the textbooks to be used in the new school year. In addition, teachers also actively coordinate with parents to guide how to choose the right book, avoiding shortcomings".
