My sincere messages to teachers, managers, workers in the education sector, students, trainees and parents!
On the occasion of the opening of the 2025 - 2026 school year, in the joy and pride of the whole country celebrating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution, the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and the 80th anniversary of the education sector, I would like to send my warmest and most heartfelt wishes to generations of teachers, managers, workers, and laborers working in the education sector through the ages, along with students, students, trainees and parents.
80 years ago, in the historic autumn, in a letter to students on the occasion of the first school opening day when our country had just won independence, Uncle Ho conveyed his great love and strong belief - the young generation of Vietnam will bring the country to the throne of glory on par with the world powers. That sacred wish of the Father is still echoing, reminding them to constantly study and practice to be worthy of the sacrifices and contributions of previous generations, contributing to the cause of protecting, building and developing the country.
In the past school year, the education sector has proactively and actively advised, proposed, and completed many important mechanisms, policies, and legal documents to innovate and develop education and training in the new period; the entire sector has completed the implementation of the new General Education Program from grades 1 to 12, affirming the initial success of the general education innovation process. The quality of education at all levels has been improved; Vietnamese students continue to achieve high results in international and regional Olympic competitions, contributing to improving our country's educational position in the international arena. These are valuable efforts of the education sector, teachers and students nationwide, while continuing to spread the trust and support of society for the cause of innovation and development of education and training in the country.
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, I warmly congratulate and commend the very proud achievements that the education sector has achieved in the 2024-2025 school year.
The 2025 - 2026 school year is the first school year taking place in the new context when the whole country completes the arrangement of administrative units, implements the two-level local government model, and is also the first school year to implement Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW dated August 22, 2025 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development; I hope the education sector will focus on implementing the theme of the school year well: " crop discipline - Breakthrough - Development; continue to aim for the goal of forming and comprehensively developing people in knowledge, ethics, skills, courage and aspiration, meeting the requirements of rapid and sustainable development of the country in the new development era - The era of the Vietnamese nation's rise.
On the eve of the new school year, I believe that students and trainees will continue to nurture their dreams, constantly study and practice, becoming patriotic, responsible, creative, compassionate, and have great aspirations to build an increasingly prosperous and happy country.
I hope that teachers, managers, and workers in the education sector will always maintain the passion, love for the profession, constantly innovate, be creative, and build a happy learning environment for students.
I hope that parents, with love and responsibility, will continue to accompany the school and society to care for future generations.
I suggest that central departments, ministries, branches, Party committees at all levels and authorities pay more attention to the education cause with practical decisions so that teachers and students can teach, study and practice in the best environment.
Wishing teachers, managers, workers in the education sector and students, trainees to always be healthy, happy, and achieve many achievements in the new school year, so that the Vietnamese education sector will make an important contribution to making the country "sharing the shoulders of the world powers" as desired by beloved Uncle Ho.
