The Ministry of Education and Training issued a notice on the afternoon of August 30 about extending the opening time of the general enrollment support system.
Accordingly, the general admission support system (thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn) will continue to open until 5:00 p.m. on September 2, 2025 for candidates to confirm their admission instead of 5:00 p.m. on August 30 as before.
According to statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training, in 2025, the total number of candidates registered to take the exam will reach 852,000 with 7.6 million wishes for more than 4,000 majors and training programs of more than 400 universities and colleges nationwide.
The total number of actual wishes to be considered for admission on the system is over 50 million (each industry wish is considered according to each method, the admission combination is considered a wish on the system), an increase of about 2 times compared to 2024.
With such a large amount of data, along with the diverse methods and conditions for admission of universities and colleges, the Ministry of Education and Training believes that errors are inevitable, even in a very small proportion.
The Ministry believes that these errors are mainly due to errors in admission input data (admission methods, conditions, admission criteria, priority evidence of candidates, foreign language certificates, etc.), some errors due to manual operations of some schools during the admission process.
According to the admission regulations, the settlement of errors is the responsibility of schools. If necessary, the Ministry will support, guide and direct other universities to coordinate in handling them. Through listening to feedback on major errors of some higher education institutions, the Ministry of Education and Training has given timely instructions and guidance, so far most of the errors have been resolved in accordance with regulations.
