According to the Department of Education and Training, in order to ensure the completion time of the curriculum and prepare well for the plan to mobilize children to go to class, enroll in the first grades of the 2026-2027 school year, it is proposed to organize the exam in two days, June 1 and 2. 2026.
In recent years, the 10th grade entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City is usually held on June 6-7. However, this year the high school graduation exam is expected to take place on June 11-12, forcing the 10th grade exam schedule to be adjusted to ensure organizational work.
The 10th grade entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City includes 3 compulsory subjects: Math, Literature, Foreign Language and specialized or integrated subject exams (if any). In which, Math and Literature are tested 120 minutes/subject; Foreign Language 90 minutes; specialized or integrated subject 150 minutes.
Previously, in October 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training announced the exam structure and sample exam questions for 3 subjects: Math, Literature and English.
