On August 14, the Department of Education and Training (GDDT) of Ho Chi Minh City announced the teacher recruitment plan for the 2025-2026 school year for all levels of education from kindergarten to high school.
Accordingly, high schools under the Department of Education and Training need to recruit 671 teachers. Of which, Area 1 (formerly Ho Chi Minh City) has 460 teachers; Area 2 (formerly Binh Duong province) has 157 teachers; Area 3 (formerly Ba Ria-Vung Tau) has 54 teachers.
For public service units under the People's Committees of wards, communes and special zones, the number of civil servants to be recruited is 5,726 for teacher positions. Of which, preschool is 615 teachers, primary school is 2,040, secondary school is 3,071.
Area 1 needs to recruit 3,089 teachers; Area 2 requires 1,990 teachers; Area 3 requires 647 teachers.
From August 14 to September 12, recruitment candidates can register online at the link https://tuyendung.hcm.edu.vn. Then, submit the application form at the location where the application form is received or send by post to the address:

For units in Area 2, send to the address: No. 99 Le Hong Phong extended street, Zone 1, Chanh Hiep ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
For units in Area 3, send to the address: Public Administration Center, No. 4 Nguyen Tat Thanh, Ba Ria Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
In the 2025-2026 school year, Ho Chi Minh City will have a total of more than 2.5 million students (an increase of more than 39,600 students compared to the previous school year).
Of which, preschool has 478,458 students; primary school has 939,002 students; secondary school has 759,278 students; high school has 352,051 students.
