On March 5, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training (GDĐT) announced the decision to recognize the results of admission for cases where candidates have recruitment results lower than the adjacent one (in order) compared to the recruitment results of the winning candidate for the recruitment needs arising in the first phase of the civil servant recruitment, school year 2025-2026.
Accordingly, out of a total of 4,852 candidates applying for additional admission, 686 candidates were admitted.
Previously, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training announced the recruitment demand for additional teachers for the 2025-2026 school year with more than 1,400 people.
In which, public non-business units directly under the Department of Education and Training need to recruit 236 more teachers for 88 units.
And in schools directly under wards, communes, and special zones, it is necessary to recruit 1,182 teachers for 500 schools. In which, preschool level needs to recruit an additional 67 teachers. Primary level, recruit 145 primary school teachers teaching multiple subjects; 81 primary school team general in charge teachers; 68 music teachers; 29 physical education teachers; 33 English teachers; 48 computer science and technology teachers.
For secondary school level, 143 History - Geography teachers are recruited; 117 Fine Arts teachers; 102 Music teachers; 101 Literature teachers; 58 Math teachers; 46 Civic Education teachers; 41 English teachers; 35 Natural Science teachers; 24 Physical Education teachers.
Thus, after 2 recruitment rounds in the 2025-2026 school year, Ho Chi Minh City has recruited 4,594 teachers (round 1 recruited 3,908 teachers).
