According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, at the investment project to build the Thanh Nua Inter-level Boarding School (PTNT) for Primary and Secondary School (THCS) (Thanh Nua commune, Dien Bien) in the first days of the new year, the construction pace is taking place urgently.
From the 6th day of Lunar New Year, nearly a hundred local workers have been present at the construction site to work.
The Thanh Nua Inter-level Boarding School project officially started construction on November 9, 2025, with a total investment of more than 224 billion VND, with a scale of 30 classrooms, 13 subject rooms, 99 boarding rooms and auxiliary items.
To date, the progress of the entire project has reached about 45%. Items are being implemented synchronously, ensuring quality and progress according to plan.
Representatives of Trade and Construction Co., Ltd. No. 6 (the construction contractor) said that after Tet, the unit maintains 300 or more workers at the construction site, arranged in different areas and items, to meet the progress.
Mr. Sung A Phong (Pu Nhi commune, Dien Bien) said: "Workers working in the days leading up to Tet and after Tet are all cared for and encouraged by the company's leadership and Trade Union levels both materially and spiritually.
Information from the Project Management Board and Land Fund Development Area 1 (investor) said that the unit regularly urges contractors to organize "3 shifts, 4 teams" of construction to strive to complete the entire project before August 30.
Sharing the same atmosphere in the first days of the new year, at the project site of Thanh Yen Inter-level Primary and Secondary School (Thanh Yen commune, Dien Bien), over 100 workers, mostly local workers, have started working.
The project has a total investment of 200 billion VND from the central budget, invested by the Project Management and Land Fund Development Board of Region 2, and started on November 9, 2025.
Updating on the construction progress, a representative of the investor said that the ground leveling work has been completed about 90% of the volume. About 1.5ha remaining will continue to be leveled (using surplus land from the Thanh Nua Inter-level School project) immediately after completing site clearance for related households.
For the main construction items: The primary school classroom building is under construction of the 2nd floor body, reaching about 35% of the volume, expected to be completed on July 15; The secondary school classroom building is installing floor girder molds on the 1st floor, reaching 30% of the volume...
Currently, the total construction value is estimated to reach over 35% of the volume. According to the plan, the project will be completed before August 30 to be ready for the new school year. However, the construction unit is making maximum efforts to both ensure the fastest progress for the key project" - the investor representative added.
