On November 16, the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province simultaneously held a groundbreaking ceremony for 4 boarding schools for primary and secondary schools in 4 border communes including: Duc Nong, Mo Rai, Ro Khoi and Sa Loong.

Politburo member and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh attended the groundbreaking ceremony in Duc Nong commune. Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong attended the groundbreaking ceremony in Mo Rai commune.
Regarding the policy of investing in building schools for border communes, the Government has approved the policy of building 9 inter-level boarding schools in 9 border communes.

In phase 1, Quang Ngai province received support from the Central Government of more than 612.7 billion VND to build 4 primary and secondary boarding schools for mainland border communes including: Duc Nong, Mo Rai, Ro Khoi and Sa Loong.
Each school has a scale of 30 to 47 classes, meeting the learning needs of more than 1,000 students, with a system of boarding houses for students, public housing for teachers, libraries, physical areas, dining rooms and synchronous auxiliary works. The time to complete the construction of the schools is before August 30, 2026.
Speaking at the ceremony, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh emphasized that the groundbreaking of the construction of boarding schools for primary and secondary schools in border communes of Quang Ngai province is an event of profound significance, demonstrating the affection and responsibility of the Party and State for the cause of education, for people in remote, isolated and border areas of the Fatherland.
In order for the projects to be completed soon and promote efficiency, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh requested the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province to direct investors and construction units to strictly implement regulations on construction investment management, ensuring quality, progress, safety and efficiency.
Local authorities closely coordinate in site clearance, completing technical infrastructure, creating the most favorable conditions for construction on schedule.
The Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Finance continue to pay attention to supporting and removing difficulties in capital and procedures for projects, so that the program can be implemented synchronously, on schedule, and achieve practical results.
At the ceremony, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh presented the statue of Uncle Ho to the Duc Nong Primary - Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities; presented 1,600 warm coats to students.
