The floor score is applied by Hong Bang International University (HIU) according to three admission methods: considering high school graduation exam scores, considering combined (1 subject from grade 12 + 2 subjects from high school exam) and considering high school transcripts.
Accordingly, for the Medicine and Dentistry, the floor score is 20.5 points (based on high school exam scores), 21 points (based on combinations), and 22.25 points (based on academic records).
In the Pharmacy and Traditional Medicine majors, the floor score is 19 points (based on high school exam scores), 19.5 points (based on combined scores), and 20.5 points (based on academic records).
In the fields of Nursing, Midwifery, Medical Labor Technique, Rehabilitation Technique, Medical Imaging Technology, the floor score is 17 points (based on high school exam scores), 17.5 points (based on combinations), 18.5 points (based on academic records).
Public Health and Nutrition: due to not being tied to the entrance threshold according to regulations, HIU received the application with 15 points (based on high school exam scores), 16 points (based on combined scores), and 18 points (based on academic records).
Candidates considered for admission to the health sector group at HIU need to meet the following additional academic requirements: Medicine, Dentistry, Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy require excellent academic performance.
The majors of Nursing, Midwifery, Medical Labor Technical, Rehabilitation Technology and Medical Imaging Technology require at least academic qualifications. The Department of Nutrition and Public Health does not limit academic performance.
Previously, on July 16, HIU announced the admission floor score for majors in the following groups: Economics - Administration, International Languages and Culture, Social Sciences, Technology - Engineering and Educational Sciences. Accordingly, the floor score is 15 points (based on high school graduation exam scores), 15 points (based on combinations) and 18 points (based on transcripts according to a combination of 3 subjects in grade 12 or an average score of 3 years in grades 10, 11, 12 is from 6.0 or higher).
