On the afternoon of July 6, the Admissions Council of Hong Bang International University (school code HIU) just announced the minimum admission scores for 2026 for 43 majors and regular university training programs.
Accordingly, for the method of considering high school graduation exam results, the floor score applied to most majors is 15 points; the admission method combining high school graduation exam scores with 12th grade transcripts is 16 points.
For the group of Law majors including: Law and Economic Law, along with majors in the field of health with practicing licenses including: Medicine, Traditional Medicine, Odonto-Stomatology, Pharmacy... the floor score according to the high school graduation exam method will be applied according to the input quality assurance threshold regulated by the Ministry of Education and Training, expected to be announced before 5 pm on July 8, 2026.
For Biomedical Engineering, Aesthetic Technology, Nutrition, and Public Health majors, all belonging to the health sector, the common benchmark score of 15 points will continue to be applied.

Mr. Ngo Tri Dung - Director of the HIU Enrollment and Communication Center said that the above-mentioned floor score is the minimum score for candidates to register for admission to HIU. The score is calculated based on the total score of three subjects belonging to the admission combination corresponding to the training major that candidates register for.
If considered based on academic transcripts, candidates need to achieve a total average score of three subjects according to the admission combination (6 semesters) from 18 points or higher for most majors. For the health block with a practicing license, the academic transcript threshold is higher depending on the major.
With the admission method based on the competency assessment exam results of Ho Chi Minh City National University (scale of 1,200 points), the school accepts applications from 650 points for most majors. The groups of Medicine, Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery, Law and Economic Law require from 700 points; Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy from 675 points.
