On July 6, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) announced the input quality assurance threshold (floor score) and regulations for conversion to equivalent admission scores, input thresholds between regular university admission methods in 2026.
According to the Admissions Council of Ton Duc Thang University, regulations on conversion equivalent to the admission score, entrance threshold and announcement of the floor score in 2026 are applied to 2 methods, including: comprehensive admission based on the ability of candidates based on the 2026 high school graduation exam results, high school study process and other abilities (PT1); admission based on the results of the 2026 competency assessment exam of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (PT2).
Regarding the combined admission method, Ton Duc Thang University said that the conversion of scores is based on the score distribution of high school graduation exam subjects in 2026; the score distribution of some traditional combinations according to the results of the high school graduation exam in 2026; the results of aptitude test scores of TDTU; statistical data on the correlation between the scores of high school graduation exam subjects and the average scores of corresponding subjects in high school; and the specific requirements of the training industry as well as reference statistics and assessment of academic results in previous years.
For each admission major, the school stipulates an original admission combination (THXT) of PT1 as the basis for determining the admission score. The remaining THXTs (not the original combination) will be converted points based on the difference compared to the original combination of the same major.
With the method of admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam, the conversion is based on the following bases: Distribution of the results of the 2026 competency assessment exam of VNU-HCM; score distribution of the 2026 high school graduation exam subjects; score distribution of some traditional combinations according to the 2026 high school graduation exam results; score results of aptitude tests of TDTU; statistical data on the correlation between the scores of the high school graduation exam subjects and the average scores of corresponding subjects in high school; and specific requirements of the training sector as well as reference statistics and assessment of academic results in previous years.
The determination of the admission score (or entrance threshold) according to PT2 is performed using the linear intrapolation method between two adjacent score levels in the conversion frame. The intrapolation is based on the ten-position interval corresponding to the score of the original admission combination according to PT1.
For the main campus in Ho Chi Minh City, the input quality assurance threshold is regulated according to each admission method as follows:

For Khanh Hoa branch, the input quality assurance threshold is regulated according to each admission method as follows:
