On the afternoon of January 12, Hanoi National University of Education held a ceremony to announce the decision to recognize the title of associate professor and announce the decision to appoint and reappoint management staff.
Accordingly, the school has announced decisions recognizing the title of associate professor and doctor with 13 teachers; Announcing decisions to appoint and reappoint 6 management officials.
Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Son - Rector of Hanoi National University of Education - sent congratulations to the new associate professors and said that this is a particularly great joy, showing the achievements from personal efforts, from setting goals and persistently overcoming difficulties for a long time.
Hanoi National University of Education currently has 141 associate professors, 10 professors and a large team of doctors. The success of the teachers is the pride of me personally and the school; at the same time, it is also the foundation for school leaders to always be confident when undertaking and implementing major tasks" - Mr. Son said.
The Rector of Hanoi National University of Education hopes that the teachers will continue to strive and achieve even higher successes, contributing to the common value of Hanoi National University of Education.
Regarding teachers holding management and leadership roles, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Son said that some people enter the second term with a lot of experience, some people take on tasks for the first time with no small bewilderment and challenges. Therefore, he expects that each teacher, when assigned important responsibilities, will complete the assigned tasks, find joy and happiness in the trust of the collective and the leadership.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Tuyet - Head of the Department of Human and Animal Physiology, Faculty of Biology, Hanoi National University of Education - representing the new associate professors said that being appointed as a deputy professor is not the destination, but a new milestone of responsibility - responsibility to learners, to science and to the development of the school.
In the context of renovated and deeply integrated higher education, Associate Professors not only need to have solid expertise and pioneering scientific research, but also must maintain scientific honesty and inspire learners," Ms. Tuyet said.
The period 2025-2030 is of key significance for the development and affirmation of the University's position. 2026 is a pivotal year in the implementation of the Law on Education, the Law on Higher Education in 2025 and the new development strategy.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Hau - Head of the Faculty of Biology, Hanoi National University of Education, representing the heads of units - said that this is the time to open up many innovation opportunities, and also poses major challenges in terms of enrollment, training quality, international integration, digital transformation and mastering the era of artificial intelligence.
