This bonus level is applied generally to all civil servants, employees, and school leaders who have worked for one year or more, regardless of title, position, or degree.
In addition to the above bonus, at the beginning of the new year 2026, each cadre, lecturer and employee of the school will also receive a lucky draw of 5 million VND. Thus, during the 2026 Lunar New Year, the total amount of money that the school's staff, lecturers and employees will receive is 30 million VND/person.
According to Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoan, the scene had a total of about 850 people, the total amount to be spent during the Lunar New Year is about 25 billion VND.
It is known that from 2016 to present, every Lunar New Year, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade has implemented the same Tet bonus, regardless of position, title, or job position.
"Every month, managers and lecturers working at the school, depending on their title, position, and degree, have higher income than other employees. On Tet holiday, all workers have the same need to celebrate Tet, all have expenses for family and relatives," said Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoan.
According to the training schedule for the 2025-2026 school year, during the Lunar New Year 2026, the school will give students a 4-week holiday, from February 9 to March 8, 2026 (ie December 22, 2025 to January 21, 2026).
