Hiep Binh High School (Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City) has issued an urgent notice to parents and 12th graders of the entire school about being vigilant against scams related to registering for the 2025 high school graduation exam.
This school said that some parents and 12th graders received messages and calls from strangers, informing parents and students that they needed to adjust their students' registration information by following the request to update the strange link and then losing money in their personal accounts.
Hiep Binh High School recommends that parents and students do not follow the requests of strangers.
The school said that all information is communicated through the school's official channels and through homeroom teachers to parents and students directly.
The school absolutely does not require parents to provide personal information through calls or links of unknown origin.
"The school conducts the inspection and signing of exam registration forms directly with students at the school," Hiep Binh High School informed.
Recently, many schools in Ho Chi Minh City have also sent notices to students to be vigilant against scams from calls and messages from strangers.
Last March, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City also sent a notice to schools in the area to warn about the method of refunding tuition fees.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training said that scammers sent messages, called parents, impersonated employees of departments, schools, and requested to make records to refund tuition fees according to the regulations of the Politburo to appropriate property.
