Located just a few hundred meters from the new location of Tan Thanh Commune Kindergarten, an old facility of this school is in the process of being abandoned and degraded.
As recorded by Lao Dong reporter on the afternoon of August 5, the school's old facility includes 2-storey buildings, 4-level houses and parking sheds. In particular, items such as doors and walls are all degraded. Trees and weeds in the hallways and schoolyard are overgrown. Looking in from the street, the school area is not only degraded but also unkempt.
According to local people, the school has been abandoned for a long time, which is why it is in such an abandoned state. From the outside, the buildings are still usable. The area of this school facility is very large and is located right near the commune People's Committee headquarters, which is abandoned and very wasteful.
Regarding the above issue, talking with Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Mr. Tran Quoc Nghia - Chairman of Tan Thanh Commune People's Committee (Vu Ban District) said that the old Tan Thanh Kindergarten has an area of nearly 2,000 square meters, including 2-storey building with 8 classrooms built in 1989, house of Tan Thanh Commune Kindergarten Center, 3-room corrugated iron roof house and parking shed.
"After the new school came into operation, the old school area was no longer in use for about 4 years, so this situation occurred. Currently, the local government is proposing to transfer the old kindergarten to an elementary school. is located opposite and is lacking in space," said Chairman of Tan Thanh Commune People's Committee.
