On March 12, Nguyen Binh Khiem Elementary School (Saigon ward) issued a notice related to the enrollment of grade 1 students for the 2026-2027 school year.
In this notice, Nguyen Binh Khiem Elementary School affirmed that the school does not organize any grade 1 enrollment survey programs for the 2026-2027 school year as some information is currently being sent to parents.
According to the school, all information related to the school's first-grade enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year is posted on the school's official media channels.
Parents who need to find out enrollment information should contact the school office directly to be consulted and supported by the 1st grade enrollment council for the 2026-2027 school year," the notice stated.
Previously, on February 4, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training (GDĐT) issued a notice to parents of students about some contents related to the entrance exam for the 2026-2027 school year.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training said that it is currently recording a number of subjects impersonating first-level enrollment officials of the Department; officials in charge of enrollment in schools to contact parents to collect personal information or provide false information about first-level enrollment.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training recommends that parents absolutely do not provide personal information, bank accounts, OTP codes or pay unofficial fees when someone calls.

In the 2026-2027 school year, Ho Chi Minh City is expected to have 197,593 students entering grade 1.
