Tuyen Quang - The pilot implementation period for organizing 5-day/week teaching and learning starts from March 24.

Tuyen Quang Department of Education and Training has just issued document No. 404 on the pilot implementation of organizing 5-day/week teaching for secondary and high schools in the area.

Organizing teaching and learning 5 days/week (Saturday and Sunday) ensures synchronization with the working schedule of cadres and civil servants. At the same time, it meets the needs of families and society in managing and educating students. Helping students have more time to play, entertain, and develop life skills.

The pilot scope includes junior high schools, high schools, and inter-level schools with junior high schools and high schools in the area. The implementation period is from March 24 to the end of the 2024 - 2025 school year.

For secondary schools, teaching is organized 5 days/week (from Monday to Friday). On days when teaching is organized in 2 sessions, in the morning it is not more than 4 periods, in the afternoon it is not more than 3 periods. In the morning, priority is given to classes by class, in the afternoon, priority is given to activities, physical education, and art.

For high school level, the days of organizing teaching are 2 sessions, not more than 5 periods in the morning, not more than 3 periods in the afternoon. In the morning, priority is given to subjects according to classes, with many periods. In the afternoon, priority is given to activities, physical education, and experience.
