On February 28, the Department of Education and Training of Buon Ma Thuot city (Dak Lak province) informed that the unit had sent a report to the City People's Committee regarding a teacher at Ly Tu Trong Primary School with signs of torturing students.
Parents reported that Ms. B.T.T.X, the homeroom teacher of class 5D of the school, used a broken electric wire shell to beat the students and used a towel to scare them.
This teacher also had students prepare a paper to wrap around and put it in their mouths when they talked. These reflections are correct.
After verifying the incident, Ly Tu Trong Primary School temporarily suspended teacher X from teaching and stopped her homeroom work for class 5D.
In addition, the school requested Ms. X to make a report of the incident to determine the level of violation for handling according to regulations.
The school's leaders also met with the parents of students in class 5D to discuss the class's incident.
As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, images appeared on social networks suggesting that a 5th grade teacher (in Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province) had beaten and tortured many students in the class at the above school.
The parents of the students said that the incident had happened a long time ago, but the students did not dare to say it because the teacher threatened that if she said it, they would keep it in class.
This parent went to meet the school's board of directors. The school said it will suspend teaching and lower the teacher's emulation level by 1 level.
