On the afternoon of December 7, in Phu Quoc City, Kien Giang Province, the authorities of the Command of Coast Guard Region 4 coordinated with An Thoi High School to organize propaganda on the Law on Vietnam Coast Guard and drug crime prevention and control for more than 1,100 officers, teachers and students of the School.
Propagandists of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command disseminated information about the position, role and importance of the sea and islands in the cause of national construction and protection; the Law on Vietnam Coast Guard and the work of preventing and combating drug crimes, especially in preventing drugs from entering schools.
Through the propaganda session, the awareness and responsibility of cadres, teachers and students in protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands and better understanding the functions, tasks and activities of the Vietnam Coast Guard force will be raised. In particular, it will help students have self-prevention skills and raise awareness of the fight against drugs, not allowing drugs to enter schools.
This is a practical and meaningful activity of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command in the stationed area to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024).
On this occasion, the Command of Coast Guard Region 4 presented souvenirs to the school and 20 gifts to students with difficult circumstances who have overcome difficulties to excel in their studies.
