According to the Electronic Information Portal of the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religious Affairs (DTTG) on January 13, Deputy Minister of DTTG Nong Thi Ha just met with the Construction Specialized Investment Project Management Board on the project to invest in facilities for 5 specialized schools under the Ministry.
According to the report at the meeting, the project to invest in facilities for specialized schools under the Ministry belongs to Sub-Project 2, Project 4 of the National Target Program for socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the period 2021 - 2030, phase I:
From 2021 to 2025, including the renovation, repair and new construction of items such as: dormitory block, health station, multi-functional house, lecture hall block, official residence, subject classroom, traditional house, guest house, hall, general library, collective dining hall, gate, fence, parking garage and security house;
Upgrading and renovating the equipment system for teaching and learning, fire prevention and fighting systems, technical infrastructure, transformer stations, lighting systems, water supply and drainage and auxiliary works... It is expected that the items will be completed no later than October 2026.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nong Thi Ha emphasized that the content preparation is under the direction of the Prime Minister.
It is proposed that the Department of Planning and Finance complete the report proposing to the Minister of Information and Communications on the transfer of the project to the local investor under the direction of the Prime Minister, advise on a specific evaluation report for each plan, clearly stating advantages and difficulties, and on that basis propose specific implementation solutions, with timelines and clear progress.
Deputy Minister Nong Thi Ha also requested the Project Management Board to coordinate with specialized schools to review and re-evaluate the entire current state of facilities of schools according to the standards and regulations of a modern boarding school.
Based on the approved and started projects, focus on accelerating the construction progress, promptly removing obstacles, ensuring the handover of basic items on schedule to be timely for the opening program to welcome the new school year in September 2026.
