Do not wait until the school is built to take care of operation
Along with building facilities, Dong Thap is simultaneously implementing tasks related to organizational structure, personnel, enrollment and policies for students, in order to proactively create conditions for the school to operate immediately after completion.
According to the expected enrollment plan for the 2027-2028 school year, 3 schools will organize both boarding and semi-boarding classes, expected to receive about 4,657 students, including 1,433 boarding students and 3,224 semi-boarding students.
Thoroughly grasping the direction of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee: "Don't let schools build and then worry about operating", provincial departments and agencies have proactively coordinated with localities to develop plans to arrange and merge existing schools to form a structure for new boarding schools.
In Hong Ngu ward, the project to arrange and merge Tan Hoi Secondary School and Tan Hoi Primary School was built to establish Hong Ngu Primary and Secondary Boarding School. The number of people assigned to work is 65, currently 62 people. In Tan Ho Co, the number of people assigned to work is 83, currently 80 people. Through actual inspection, Dong Thap Provincial Party Secretary Ngo Chi Cuong requested the investor and construction units to continue to focus resources, organize drastic construction, and accelerate the progress of projects; noting that it is necessary to strictly control the quality of works, labor safety and technical requirements, ensuring that items are implemented in accordance with regulations. The Provincial Party Secretary requested relevant units to proactively coordinate and promptly remove problems arising during the implementation process; strive to complete works on schedule, ensure quality and promote investment efficiency.
