According to the posted content, this account reflects that it directly witnessed candidate T.G.H using a mobile phone during the Physics and Chemistry exams.
This account also said that the candidates in the same exam room saw the incident, and at the same time requested the Ministry of Education and Training to clarify and handle it to ensure the fairness and transparency of the exam.
On the morning of July 11, in an exchange with Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Bui Van Long - Principal of Tuy Phuoc High School No. 1 - confirmed that the school had grasped the feedback information about candidate T.G.H from the afternoon of July 10.
The school is verifying and clarifying the reflected content, it is not yet clear what the truth is. Through initial investigation, candidate T.G.H has good academic performance and is obedient. As soon as there are verification results, the school will officially inform," Mr. Long said.
Previously, as Lao Dong newspaper reported, at noon on July 10, an account on the social network Threads posted an article accusing candidate N.T. Tr, a 12A10 student of Nguyen Thai Hoc High School No. 1, of secretly bringing a smartphone into the exam room to look up answers in the 2026 high school graduation exam.
According to the post, this account said that the candidate took the exam at this exam site but could not save evidence because he was in the exam room. At the same time, it said that some candidates in the same room could testify.
According to announced exam score data, candidate N.T. Tr achieved a total score of 26.75, including Math 9.75 points, Literature 7.5 points and English 9.5 points.
Regarding the above reflections, leaders of the Gia Lai Provincial Department of Education and Training said that they have directed schools with candidates being reflected to urgently verify, clarify and report the results to the Department.
Through initial grasp, the accounts posting and sharing information are all anonymous accounts, and the identity of the complainant cannot be identified. Therefore, the Education sector will verify through the exam council, the supervisory council, candidates in the same exam room and the police agency to clarify the content of the complaint.
The Department's point of view is to handle violations as much as possible, publicly, transparently, without covering up. If the verification results at schools do not detect violations, we will propose that the police agency intervene to handle the posting of false information and official information to avoid causing public confusion," said the leader of Gia Lai Provincial Department of Education and Training.
