The People's Committee of Binh Duong province held a meeting to review the policy of preparing a pre-feasibility study report for the investment project to complete the My Phuoc Tan Van road.
Accordingly, the People's Committee of Binh Duong province agreed in principle to assign Becamex Corporation to prepare a pre-feasibility study report for the investment project to complete My Phuoc Tan Van road under the PPP method.
The People's Committee of Binh Duong province assigned the Binh Duong Department of Finance to urgently advise the Provincial People's Committee to report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee for opinions on the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee. At the same time, advise the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to establish a grassroots council to carry out investment policy appraisal procedures, develop a roadmap plan to ensure compliance with legal regulations.
According to records, My Phuoc Tan Van road is more than 60 km long, connecting many residential areas and industrial parks in Binh Duong. Currently, about 35 km from Dinh Hoa roundabout, Thu Dau Mot city to Cay Truong industrial park, Bau Bang district has been invested with 10 lanes.
The section from Dinh Hoa roundabout to Tan Van intersection, 26 km long, has just been invested with 6 lanes. Of which, 15.3 km coincides with the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project being considered by Binh Duong province for investment.
The section still has about 10 km intersecting with many main roads of Thu Dau Mot city, the density of vehicles is very high, and there are often congestion during rush hour. This route also does not have an overpass or underpass.
