Lam Dong - Currently blocking the road to fix landslides and subsidence on D'ran Pass, but the authorities do not warn from a distance, so people have difficulty moving.

It was recorded that on October 30, dozens of tourist vehicles and hundreds of motorbikes of all kinds ran from the center of Da Lat to near the landslide site on D'Ran Pass.

Traffic participants said that they drove dozens of kilometers on National Highway 20, but when they reached the section through D'ran Pass, they had to turn around because the authorities had banned the road.

Here, due to complicated landslides and subsidence, local authorities and authorities are setting up checkpoints to block off the scene but there are no signs from a distance.

Mr. H, a traffic participant, said that through press information, seeing that National Highway 28 and National Highway 28B were eroded, we planned to go from Da Lat through D'Ran Pass.

Then, along this route to Ngoan Cach Pass (Khanh Hoa) and then onto the highway to Vung Tau, but was very surprised when the traffic was blocked. When asked, they learned that D'ran Pass had landslides, so the road was blocked.

Actually, the road is blocked due to landslides, so the authorities have to warn from a distance so that traffic participants can grasp and choose another direction to move. If there were no warnings, people would waste time and sometimes it would be dangerous, Mr. H suggested.

Similar to Mr. H, many tourist vehicles, cars and many motorbikes while going down D'Ran Pass were suddenly stopped. Here, they were signaled by the militia to turn around.

Most tourists and residents complained and expressed dissatisfaction when the government and authorities did not place signs from a distance for tourists to choose another route.

As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper: It is estimated that there are about 60,000 m3 of soil and rock from a cracked hill at risk of collapsing into D'ran Pass on National Highway 20 connecting Da Lat with Khanh Hoa after the landslide on the evening of October 28.
