On the morning of October 30, information from the leader of Son Dien commune (Lam Dong) said that Gia Bac pass through the area continued to have many landslides, causing a large amount of rock and soil to spill onto the road.

Along with landslides, many points at km 59, 60 and 63 on National Highway 28 through Gia Bac Pass have many fallen trees lying around the road.
In addition, Gia Bac Pass also experienced subsidence of the road surface button about 10 m long.

Landslides and fallen forest trees blocked the road, causing traffic congestion on Gia Bac Pass from 7am to 11am on October 30.
Currently, the People's Committee of Son Dien commune is mobilizing forces and vehicles to be present at the scene to coordinate with the Traffic Police of Lam Dong Provincial Police to regulate and divert traffic to ensure traffic safety.

The authorities are urgently repairing the landslides; at the same time, cleared fallen forest trees to open to traffic as soon as possible.
According to the leader of Son Dien commune, currently, in the commune, especially Gia Bac pass, there is a high risk of landslides and fallen forest trees. Drivers need to pay special attention to ensure safety.

Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, heavy rain lasting from the afternoon of October 27 to the early morning of October 28 caused a serious landslide on Gia Bac Pass on National Highway 28.

Through on-site inspection, local authorities and authorities recorded 7 landslides, including 2 large ones at Km51 and Km50+200.
