On the morning of February 12, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Tiep, Head of the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of Lam Dong Provincial Police, said that to ensure traffic safety during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year, the unit deployed 100% of personnel on duty.
Through this, focus on patrolling, controlling, regulating, and diverting traffic, ensuring smooth traffic on national highways and in urban centers throughout the province.

“Along with the task of ensuring traffic safety, the unit also organizes activities to accompany and support people on their journey back to their hometowns to celebrate Tet. Thereby, spreading the beautiful image of People's Police soldiers serving the people,” Lieutenant Colonel Tiep said.
On February 11, on National Highway 1A, passing through Ham Kiem commune (Lam Dong), Road Traffic Police Team No. 3 (Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police) coordinated with philanthropists to implement the program "Supporting people on their way home for Tet".
The activity is organized thoughtfully and practically, supporting people traveling long distances to rest, and adding necessities and motivation before continuing their journey.

At the program, the Traffic Police force of the Provincial Police and sponsors presented 200 gifts and necessities to people traveling by motorbike from the southern provinces to the Central and Northern regions to celebrate Tet.
Young children going with their families are also given lucky money envelopes at the beginning of Spring.
Lieutenant Colonel Vu Manh Ha, Head of Road Traffic Police Team No. 3, said that during the peak period before, during and after Tet, the unit strengthens patrols and controls on the routes in charge to ensure safety for people participating in traffic.
The Traffic Police force also propagates and reminds people to strictly comply with road traffic laws such as driving at the correct speed, keeping a safe distance, not using alcohol or beer when participating in traffic; wishing people a smooth and safe trip and a warm Tet holiday with their families.
