Carrying a wedding procession, a driver in Quang Ngai ran a red light on the railway

Quang Ngai - The driver was handled for trying to run a red light on the railway, then panicked and abandoned the car within the safe level crossing.

On April 27, Road Traffic Police Team No. 1, Traffic Police Department of Quang Ngai Provincial Police said that they had just made a record of handling 2 violations including: Crossing the level crossing when the red light is on and parking vehicles within the safe railway area for driver Nguyen Trung Tam (37 years old), residing in Binh Son commune, Quang Ngai province.

According to the minutes, at 10:47 am on the same day, April 26, at Km 900+360 on the North-South railway, passing through Binh Son commune, Mr. Nguyen Trung Tam drove a car with license plate 76A-244. 60 across the level crossing when the red light was on, violating regulations on ensuring railway traffic safety.

Functional forces made a record and temporarily seized the driver's C-class driver's license to serve the handling work.

At the police station, Mr. Nguyen Trung Tam admitted to the violation. According to the report, on the morning of April 26, he borrowed a car from a relative to carry the wedding procession. When moving to the level crossing area in Tri Binh village, Binh Son commune, due to being in a hurry, despite observing the red light signal and the warning bell running, he still drove the car past.

After that, due to panic, the driver got out of the car and left the vehicle in the safe railway area. Mr. Nguyen Trung Tam admitted to violating two violations including: crossing the level crossing when the red light was turned on and parking the car in the safe level crossing area.
