On January 13, Mr. Ho Sy Trung - Chairman of Dong Ha City People's Committee confirmed that he had just signed a decision to administratively sanction Mr. T.H.L (born in 1996, residing in Nam Son village, Vinh Son commune, Vinh Linh district, Quang Tri province).
The reason for the fine against Mr. T.H.L is because he handed over the car with license plate 74A-233.xx to an unqualified person, violating the provisions of Clause 1, Article 56 of the Law on Road Traffic Safety and Order to drive the car on the road.
For this error, Mr. T.H.L was fined 29 million VND.
Previously, on January 1, the Traffic Police - Order Team of Dong Ha City Police inspected a car with license plate 74A - 233.xx and discovered that the driver violated the alcohol concentration and had an expired driver's license.
This driver was fined 7 million VND for violating alcohol concentration, and 9 million VND for driving with an expired license.
The verification process showed that the driver was not the owner of the vehicle, so the authorities continued to fine the vehicle owner, Mr. T.H.L, according to Decree 168.
