Authorities assessed that since Decree 168/2024 came into effect, Hanoi residents' awareness of obeying traffic laws has had positive changes.
At key intersections, such as Nga Tu So, Nguyen Trai - Khuat Duy Tien, O Cho Dua, Dai Co Viet - Giai Phong, Tran Duy Hung - Hoang Minh Giam, the image of people lining up neatly waiting for traffic lights, patiently moving in the correct lane has gradually replaced the chaotic scene before.
This initial success is the result of strict handling of violations by the authorities. In addition, propaganda work continues to be promoted through hundreds of news articles and reports on mainstream media channels, along with content that spreads strongly through social networks.
"With the consensus of relevant parties, the appearance of the capital's traffic is gradually changing, contributing to affirming the image of a civilized and safe Hanoi.
The journey ahead is full of challenges, but with the determination of both the government and the people, the capital will continue to be a model in building a modern and sustainable traffic culture," said a representative of the Hanoi Traffic Police Department.
