On May 26, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Association of Architects announced the results of the competition for the architectural work of Phu Kieng bridge in Nha Trang city.
According to the announcement, the TC001 code plan of Traffic Construction Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company 1 is the approved architectural design solution, used to implement the design for the Phu Kieng bridge project, Vinh Ngoc commune in the coming time.
If based on the initial entrance exam plan, the Organizing Committee will award the first prize worth 150 million VND to Traffic Construction Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company 1.
Previously, at the end of October 2024, Nha Trang City People's Council agreed on the investment policy of 18 projects with a total capital of 644 billion VND. Notably, in the list of approved projects this time, there is a project to build Phu Kieng bridge, Vinh Ngoc commune with an investment capital of nearly 600 billion VND.
Phu Kieng Bridge, Vinh Ngoc Commune will be invested by Nha Trang City People's Committee with a total capital of nearly 600 billion VND (provincial budget 70% and city 30%). The Phu Kieng Bridge construction project will be implemented in the period of 2024-2027.
The goal of the project is to facilitate people's travel needs, develop infrastructure, connect traffic in the southern area with the northern area of the city, and develop urban areas.
Currently, Phu Kieng wooden bridge was built by the people more than 22 years ago. During operation, the bridge has been seriously degraded by termites and damage, so the locality plans to build a new bridge with reinforced concrete.
