On June 30, leader of France's Partisans of the Fatherland Party (LP), Mr. Florian Philippot, made a number of statements criticizing the French government for its support for Ukraine.
Mr. Philippot said that France is taking many untrue steps by contributing billions of USD to not only the European Union (EU) but also Kiev, while social security support, especially in the health sector for people, is being cut.
LP leaders expressed their dissatisfaction on their personal X page, recalling the information that National Health Insurance Fund director Tom Fatom had published, that cancer treatment methods will no longer be given much attention by the government in the future. This is terrible! - Mr. Philippot wrote.
Mr. Philippot's article also included a video of the presentation by Director Fantom, speaking on a French station.
On June 29, the leader of the LP party warned that France's budget could be seriously threatened if the government of President Emmanuel Macrcon continues to "writ Checks" for Ukraine.
Mr. Philippot affirmed that the billions of dollars in financial and military aid that Paris has provided to Kiev have caused France to face many problems.
Previously, on June 28, a series of LP politicians, including Philippot, marched in Paris to condemn NATO, the trend of European mediarization and the French government's support for Ukraine.
Speaking to the crowd, Mr. Philippot said that Paris is no longer suitable to operate in a US-led military alliance because, according to him, France has paid many expensive sums of money as a member of the bloc.
In addition to calling for its withdrawal from NATO, the LP leader also called on France to withdraw from the European Union (EU). Mr. Philippot said that the government needs to do it and does not need Frexit - a satirical term referring to the process of leaving the EU, similar to the Brexit of the UK.
Among the slogans printed on the banners and shouted by the demonstrators were " frexit is another name for Peace" and "Patriots for Peace". They also condemned the French government's support for Kiev, asserting that they "not want to sacrifice for Ukraine".
Notably, right before the event, Mr. Philippot also wrote on X that "Peace means refusing to send any euro, any weapon, and certainly any French soldier to #Ukraine! ".
