According to Lao Dong's records in early November 2024, package 8 (Component project 2.1, construction of parallel road to Hanoi Ring Road 4) has taken shape after 15 months of construction.
This package undertakes construction over a total length of about 13km, through Soc Son and Me Linh districts.
At the construction site, many workers, engineers, and equipment were mobilized by the contractor to construct asphalt pavement. Some sections of the route are in the process of treating weak soil and spreading crushed stone...
The contractor also organized many construction teams to construct the Ca Lo River overpass and the Hanoi - Lao Cai railway overpass. Currently, the construction unit has basically completed the construction of the bridge piers and is proceeding with the installation of the girders.
Currently, the construction of Package No. 8, the section through Soc Son and Me Linh districts, has completed over 40% of the construction volume. According to the contract, the section will be completed in June 2026, but with the current progress, the contractor is striving to complete it in 2025.
Regarding the progress of the 57km parallel road project of Ring Road 4 through Hanoi, the Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board said that 4 construction packages have been simultaneously deployed by contractors on the handed over land area with 32 construction points (23 road points, 9 bridge points).
Output to date has reached about 36.86%. The parallel road of Ring Road 4 through Hanoi is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2025.
