Bao Loc Pass is locally congested due to traffic accident

    Lam Dong - While going down Bao Loc pass, a truck carrying an excavator collided with a sleeper bus and overturned, causing traffic congestion on the pass.

    On December 27, authorities in Lam Dong province are investigating the cause of a traffic accident on Bao Loc pass.

    According to initial information, the accident occurred on Bao Loc Pass, in Da M’ri Town (Da Huoai District). The accident occurred at around 11:30 a.m. the same day.

    At that time, a truck with a Ho Chi Minh City license plate carrying an excavator (driver's identity unknown) was traveling on Bao Loc pass in the direction from Bao Loc City to Ho Chi Minh City.

    When reaching Km 99 in Da M'ri town, while entering a sharp turn, there was a collision with a sleeper bus with a Ho Chi Minh City license plate (driver's identity unknown) traveling in the same direction ahead.

    The collision caused the truck and the excavator on board to overturn. The truck was badly damaged, the cabin was crushed. The passenger bus had damage to the rear body.

    Fortunately, the accident only caused minor injuries to the truck driver. The accident caused a one-way traffic jam on Bao Loc Pass from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Lat.

    After the accident, the authorities were present to regulate traffic and investigate the cause of the incident.
