Police in Chuong My district (Hanoi) are investigating and clarifying the cause of the incident in which 3 people died in a ditch in Dong Lac commune.
According to initial information, at around 8:30 p.m. on November 24, people discovered four people and a motorbike lying in a ditch near Dong Lac Primary School (Dong Lac Commune, Chuong My District, Hanoi).
The ditch was about 4m wide and 3m deep. The motorbike plunged headfirst into the ditch, the water rising more than 1m above the body of the motorbike.
Initial inspection, local people and authorities discovered 3 dead people and a seriously injured boy.
Immediately afterwards, the 9-year-old boy was taken to the emergency room.
Three people died on the spot, including a woman over 40 years old, a man about 20 years old and a child about 1 year old.
Initially, authorities determined that the victims were all members of the same family.
