On the afternoon of November 19, the People's Committee of Xuan Huong - Da Lat Ward is coordinating with the authorities of Lam Dong Province to handle the scene of the landslide on Mimosa Pass.
Information said that due to prolonged heavy rain, at around 4:00 p.m. the same day, rocks and trees from the positive slope slid down and collapsed onto the surface of Mimosa Pass.

At this time, some drivers driving through the area were detected and avoided in time, so there were no casualties or property damage.
At the scene, fallen trees blocked the pass, causing complete traffic congestion in both directions. Upon receiving the report, the authorities of Xuan Huong - Da Lat ward were present to block off the scene, move rocks, soil, and fallen trees, and ensure traffic through the area.

The landslide caused some civil works above to have their foundations exposed, at risk of collapsing. The authorities have blocked off the scene and taken measures to ensure the safety of the people.
Previously, on the afternoon of November 18, prolonged heavy rain caused a landslide about 20m long on the first first first-hand slope of Mimosa Pass, at Km224+700. At the scene, the metal railing system sank 1-2m, part of the pass's negative slope appeared dangerous frog's jaw.

During the day, the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province announced a ban on vehicles with a load capacity of over 15 tons from traveling through Mimosa to ensure safety.
The route for vehicles with a load capacity of over 15 tons entering and exiting Da Lat has also been regulated by the authorities, diverting traffic in the new direction. Mimosa Pass is 11km long, one of the main passes connecting Da Lat with the surrounding area.
