Hanoi - The 6.5km Thanh Oai economic axis project, expected to be completed by the end of 2024, will help connect regions and create momentum for socio-economic development in the capital.
With a total investment of nearly 525 billion VND, the Thanh Oai District Economic Development Axis Road Project (Hanoi) is considered a model of breakthrough thinking, creating a new axis road for even development among localities.
The 6.5km route passes through 4 communes including Thanh Thuy, Thanh Van, Tam Hung and Kim Bai town. Of the total investment, the construction cost is nearly 283 billion VND; compensation, support and resettlement costs are about 174.5 billion VND and some other costs.
The cross-section of the route is divided into 2 sections, including: The section outside the urban area of Kim Bai town has a cross-section of 23m, the section inside has a cross-section of 25m.
The project also includes site clearance, pavement paving, tree planting, lighting, bridge construction across Yen Coc, Phuong My, La Khe canals, weak soil treatment on some sections, traffic organization and other auxiliary works.
Currently, the project has completed about 90% of the work. At the project site, the contractor is mobilizing maximum machinery, workers, and engineers to speed up the construction progress, bringing the project to the finish line in 2024.
