Faced with the increasing travel and tourism demand of people after the Lunar New Year on the Hanoi - Da Nang route, the Vietnam Railways industry decided to add SE27 and SE18 train pairs to serve passengers.
According to the Railway Transport Joint Stock Company, although the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026 transportation period is planned to last until March 8, the travel demand on the Hanoi - Da Nang section is still maintained at a high level. Therefore, from March 9, the railway industry organizes additional trains SE27 and SE18 to meet the needs of passengers.
Specifically, train SE27 running the Hanoi – Da Nang route, departing from Hanoi station at 8:05 PM on March 9 and days from March 11 to April 12, 2026.
In the opposite direction, train SE18 running the Da Nang – Hanoi route, departing from Da Nang station at 6:45 PM on March 10 and days from March 12 to April 13, 2026.
Ticket prices on SE27 and SE18 trains are applied flexibly according to seating type, departure direction and departure date. For SE27 trains running at the beginning of the week, a 4-bed sleeper room ticket is priced at about 1.131 - 1.230 million VND/ticket/trip; a 2-bed VIP room is about 2.461 million VND/bed/trip. On weekends, ticket prices increase, fluctuating around 1.321 - 1.401 million VND/ticket/trip; a VIP room ticket is about 2.803 million VND/bed/trip.
Meanwhile, train SE18 running at the beginning of the week has a 4-bed sleeper ticket price of about 808,000 - 915,000 VND/ticket/trip; VIP room ticket is about 1.760 million VND/bed/trip. On weekends, sleeper ticket prices range from 1.351 - 1.473 million VND/ticket/trip, VIP room ticket remains at 1.760 million VND/bed/trip.
The railway industry said that passengers traveling on SE27 and SE18 trains still fully enjoy fare reduction policies according to current regulations.
