On the morning of November 17, Mr. Tran Van Luat, Secretary of the Party Committee of Son Ha commune, Quang Ngai province, said that Nuoc Bao bridge (Vuoc Bao village) had broken in half.
According to Mr. Luat, the bridge broke in half that morning. The bridge broke, causing paralysis in movement through the area, cutting off the Mang Na and Nuoc Bao villages. Early in the morning of the same day, the locality urgently approached the scene as well as found solutions.
According to the investigation of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, the bridge break in half caused about 1,000 households in Mang Na and Nuoc Bao villages to be isolated.

According to the forecast of the Quang Ngai Provincial Hydrometeorological Station, from November 16 to 18, Quang Ngai will experience widespread heavy rain. The East of Truong Son will have 200400mm of rain, some places over 500mm. The western Truong Son area is 80150mm, some places over 200mm. Prolonged heavy rain risks causing major floods, deep flooding, flash floods and landslides, especially in mountainous areas, low-lying areas, and areas that have been eroded in the previous days.
