Hanoi is about to build 2 routes in Hoang Mai and Thuong Tin districts with cross-sections of 30m and 65m respectively.

On March 24, the Hanoi People's Committee issued Decision No. 1706/QD-UBND approving the Ngoc Hoi - Phu Xuyen route plan, scale 1/500 (phase 1: section from Ring Road 4 to Provincial Road 427).

Accordingly, the route passes through Khanh Ha and Hoa Binh communes (Thuong Tin district) with a route length of about 2.7km. The starting point is at the intersection with Ring Road 4 and the end point is at the intersection with Provincial Road 427.

The route has a cross-section of 65m, including a 6-lane road, with 3 lanes in each direction. The median strip is 11.5 m wide. The two sides of the road have parallel roads, each side includes 2 lanes, with an additional median strip and sidewalk.

The Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Department of Planning and Architecture to check and confirm the Route Plan dossier at a scale of 1/500 and be responsible for the accuracy of the submitted data.

The Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Thuong Tin District People's Committee to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Planning and Architecture and related units to organize the public announcement of the route plan, scale 1/500 approved by the City People's Committee.

The People's Committee of Thuong Tin district handed over the dossier to the People's Committees of Hoa Binh and Khanh Ha communes to manage the construction planning along both sides of the road and carry out the work of establishing construction investment projects according to regulations; inspect and handle violations of planning according to authority and regulations of law.

At the same time, review the investment scale of the Ngoc Hoi - Phu Xuyen road construction project. In case the project has not yet fully invested in the cross-section scale according to the plan, the People's Committee of Thuong Tin district is responsible for organizing the preparation, appraisal, approval of documents and organizing the placement of boundary markers according to the plan according to regulations.

On March 26, the Hanoi People's Committee issued a decision approving the investment policy for the construction of a road connecting the road east of Hoang Mai district administrative area to route 2.5 under the planning of the new urban area of Thinh Liet.

The city assigned the People's Committee of Hoang Mai district to be the investor and implement the project from 2025; the total estimated investment is 301 billion VND.

The goal of the project is to connect and complete the regional traffic network, creating a link between Tan Mai Street, the road east of Hoang Mai District Administrative Area and Road 2.5.

At the same time, the route also helps reduce traffic congestion, especially on main routes such as Phap Van - Cau Gie and Ring Road 2.5.

The project belongs to a level II traffic project with a total length of about 0.955km, with a cross-section of 30m.

The investment items include the construction of A1 high-altitude asphalt roadbed and road surface, rainwater drainage and wastewater drainage systems, water supply and supply systems, electricity supply, lighting, tree systems, sidewalks, technical cages, cable arrangement, etc.
