Present at the Ring Road 4 parallel road section through Thuong Tin district (Hanoi) on March 22, Lao Dong Newspaper reporters noted that the project has had many clear changes after 21 months since the groundbreaking date.
At the construction site, many machines, workers, and engineers are mobilized to construct project items, and there is almost no time for machine noise.
Package No. 11 (Component project 2.1, construction of the Hanoi Ring Road 4 parallel road) is undertaken by the joint venture of the contractor, Cienco4 Group Joint Stock Company - Hoang Long Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company - Song Hong Joint Stock Company. The total length of the route through Thuong Tin district is about more than 9km.
Mr. Tran Viet Son - Commander of Package 11 - contractor of Cienco 4 said that on the section where the contractor is responsible for construction, there are about 20 specialized locomotives, with nearly 40 workers working.
Currently, some locations are being treated with weak soil. About 1.3km is being paved with asphalt concrete.
According to Mr. Son, with the cleared site, basic progress is guaranteed. The locations of land clearance problems mainly concern power lines, underground and above-ground works. The city is currently implementing the relocation work, expected to be completed in March.
According to the contractor's representative, many sections within the project scope must have weak soil treatment, the minimum relocation time must be from 6-9 months. Meanwhile, the section across To Lich Bridge is still stuck with power lines, causing difficulties for the contractor.
According to the Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, the city has so far approved and reclaimed 787.75/798.65 hectares, reaching 98.64%, with the remaining 10.9 hectares not yet cleared in Me Linh, Dan Phuong, Hoai Duc districts and Ha Dong district.
The city has received 776.97/785.42 hectares of land, equivalent to 48.36/52.73km, reaching 91.7%. However, there are still many interruptions and bean sprouts on the route (about 18 sections have not been handed over the site, about 4.38km long).
Regarding the progress of the implementation of component projects through Hanoi, after 21 months from the groundbreaking date, 4 construction packages of component project 2.1 - Construction of parallel roads (urban roads) have been simultaneously deployed by contractors on the area of land handed over, equivalent to 48.35/52.43km with 32 construction points (23 road points, 9 bridge points).
To date, the volume of roadbed sand filling is about 85.01%; roadbed filling is about 62.27%; crushed stone aggregate is about 35.04%.
Regarding the Ring Road 4 project, Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh recently requested the People's Committees of districts and towns to continue to focus on implementation and completely resolve the remaining land area that must be recovered and completed before April 15. This is the deadline, no later allowed.
Regarding the implementation of construction investment component projects, for component project 2.1 (parallel road construction), the City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board urges contractors to complete in October 2025, welcoming the City Party Congress.
