The project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 1A, Van Dien - Ngoc Hoi section (Km 185 - Km 189) of Thanh Tri district was approved by the Hanoi People's Committee in 2010.
The project is 3.8km long, passing through 4 communes of Tu Hiep, Ngu Hiep, Ngoc Hoi and Lien Ninh with a total investment of nearly 890 billion VND, invested by the Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board.
In 2010, Thanh Tri district carried out site clearance, reclaiming more than 185,000m2 of land to implement the project. In 2012 - 2013, Thanh Tri District People's Committee approved the compensation and support plan and handed over 92,674m2 of land to the investor. This area has been completed and put into use.
The remaining area is 93,072m2 related to 806 households, individuals, and organizations until the end of 2024, before basically completing the land acquisition and clearance.

After a period of construction, the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 1A, Van Dien - Ngoc Hoi section, has gradually taken shape. Many locations and foundations have been secured, waiting for asphalt.
At the construction site, machinery and workers are concentrated to the maximum to construct in a rolling manner, minimizing the impact on traffic and environmental sanitation.

In addition to trees and sidewalks, all systems such as electrical wires and telecommunication cables will be undergrounded, ensuring aesthetics on the gateway to the center of the capital.
The project is being strived to be completed in the second quarter of 2025, expected to be 6 months ahead of schedule. According to the design plan, after completion, the traffic route of the gateway to the capital will have a cross-section in both directions of the road up to 46m with a scale of 8 lanes.
In the city center, after nearly 2.5 years of construction, the investment project to build Le Quang Dao road connecting Nam Tu Liem and Ha Dong districts has reached over 90% of the progress and is on track to the finish line.
The project is 2.6km long, starting at the intersection of Le Quang Dao - Thang Long Avenue (Nam Tu Liem District), ending at Duong Noi Urban Area (Ha Dong District).
The project's investment capital is more than 700 billion VND, invested by the People's Committee of Nam Tu Liem District, and started construction in October 2022.

To implement the project, Nam Tu Liem district must reclaim and clear 123,351.5m2 of land related to 364 households and 8 organizations in the wards of Me Tri, Trung Van, Dai Mo.
On January 22, the 1.9km section from the Thang Long Boulevard service road intersection to the end of the intersection with Dai Mo Street (Road 70) was temporarily opened to traffic by the authorities, helping people travel conveniently.
The remaining section of the route is about 0.7km long, from the intersection with Provincial Road 70 to Anland Lakeview apartment building, which is under construction by the contractor. Items are being implemented at the construction site such as curbs, sidewalk paving, completing asphalt pavement...

According to the contract signed between the investor and the contractor, the entire project will be completed by May 2025, after 27 months of construction.
According to the design, the route will have inter-regional road standards, with a design speed of 60 km/h. The typical cross-section of the road is 40m.
The extended Le Quang Dao road construction investment project, when completed, will help shorten travel time between Nam Tu Liem and Ha Dong districts, reduce traffic pressure on many routes in the area, and contribute to the socio-economic development of the capital.
