Accordingly, at around 3:00 p.m., a car with license plate 30G-156xx driven by Ms. N.T.D (born in 1964, residing in Ba Dinh district, Hanoi) was traveling on National Highway 21, in the Nam Van ward area in the direction of Cau Voi to Nam Dinh city, when it suddenly lost control and plunged into the water on the side of the road.
Initially determined, the accident caused 7 people to die on the spot.
At the scene, the car was overturned in the river, water almost submerged the entire body of the car. A section of the roadside railing was knocked down. Many people were present at the scene to join the rescue forces.
Previously, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a leader of the People's Committee of Nam Van Ward (Nam Dinh City) confirmed that a tragic accident had just occurred in the ward, causing many deaths.
Currently, authorities are investigating and clarifying the cause of the accident.
