On May 4, Hanoi Transport Corporation (Transerco) said that during the holidays, units throughout the corporation have seriously implemented the set plan, successfully completing the targets on transport output and service trips. At the same time, ensuring security and social safety at hotspots such as bus stations and transfer points, and no serious incidents were recorded throughout the system.
In particular, during the service process, many passengers sent letters of praise for the beautiful actions and dedicated gestures of Transerco's team of friendly, responsible workers who serve the people.
Specifically, public passenger transport by bus is organized scientifically and flexibly; operation is maintained stably through the GPS journey monitoring system, ensuring smooth connection throughout the network.
In particular, implementing the policy of exempting bus tickets during holidays, Transerco has created favorable conditions for people and tourists to travel. As a result of serving holidays from April 30 to May 3, bus units of the corporation have completed a total of 35,473 bus trips. The number of passenger trips reached 108,619 passenger trips (equal to 147.1% compared to the same period in 2025).
Subordinate bus stations have closely coordinated with functional forces, strengthened inspection and supervision of transport activities, ensuring that vehicles depart from the station in accordance with regulations, traffic safety and no fare increases.
Passenger coordination work was effectively implemented, preventing congestion and overload. As a result, the total number of vehicles serving holidays at bus stations under the management of Hanoi Bus Station Joint Stock Company and Hanoi Bus Station Exploitation Center (units under Hanoi Transport Corporation) was 8,620 vehicles, additional vehicles were 529 vehicles, serving 68,096 passengers.
The parking lot system is arranged with 24/24h on-duty forces, ensuring security and order, fire and explosion prevention and serving well the needs of parking vehicles during the holidays.
In particular, the free parking service for people entering the Mausoleum to visit President Ho Chi Minh was organized thoughtfully and safely. As a result, during the holiday, 125,200 vehicle trips were organized, including 105,000 car trips and 20,200 motorbike trips.
