On the afternoon of October 30, the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province said that this unit coordinated with the People's Committee of Xuan Truong - Da Lat ward and related units to handle the scene of the landslide on D'ran Pass, diverting traffic through the area.
Accordingly, the authorities prohibited people and vehicles from traveling through the landslide area; at the same time, divert vehicles from Khanh Hoa to Da Lat in the direction of National Highway 27 to Phi Nom intersection to turn right onto National Highway 20, to Da Lat.

Vehicles traveling from Da Lat - Khanh Hoa will follow National Highway 20 to Prenn Pass, to Phi Nom intersection to turn left onto National Highway 27 to Khanh Hoa.
The traffic diversion time starts from 4:00 p.m. on October 30 until the D'ran Pass landslide scene is handled.
On the same afternoon, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Tiep, Head of the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police, said: The unit coordinated with relevant agencies to place warning signs from a distance about landslides on D'ran Pass for people to grasp and choose a suitable direction.
Accordingly, at the starting point of Da Lat, warning signs are placed at Trai Mat roundabout (the beginning of the road leading to National Highway 20 to D'ran Pass); at the beginning of D'ran commune, warning signs are placed at the intersection at the beginning of D'ran Pass (National Highway 20 - National Highway 27).

As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, due to prolonged heavy rain, a large amount of rock and soil from the positive slope collapsed into D'ran Pass, near Cau Treo area, Xuan Truong - Da Lat ward, paralyzing traffic.
The landslide area is a positive slope nearly 50m long and nearly 30m high. Initially, the authorities recorded large cracks appearing on the positive slope of the landslide area, running long distances.
