On the morning of August 19, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province organized the reception of the first flight from Can Tho to Lien Khuong International Airport, marking the restoration of the Can Tho - Da Lat direct flight route after more than 6 years of suspension.

The flight route is operated by VASCO Aviation Joint Stock Company, a member of Vietnam Airlines Group, using ATR 72 aircraft.
According to the plan, the route is operated with a frequency of 1 round-trip flight/day. In September and October 2026 alone, the frequency is adjusted to 5 round-trip flights/week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Along with the passenger flow, the route is expected to create conditions for businesses in the two localities to strengthen investment promotion, trade, product promotion and market expansion.
