Truck overturns, causing traffic jam on Hanoi - Thai Nguyen highway

Lam Thanh |

Thai Nguyen - The sagging road surface caused the truck to lose control, crash into the median strip, and flip over, blocking the highway.

Initial information, the incident occurred at 12:30 on October 22, on the Hanoi - Thai Nguyen highway.

At that time, a small truck traveling from Hanoi to Thai Nguyen lost control when reaching Diem Thuy Industrial Park (Pho Yen City) and crashed into the median strip. Then, it continued to crash into a large truck traveling in the same direction.

The collision caused the minivan to flip over, blocking the highway. The incident did not cause any human casualties.

Currently, the Traffic Police Department of Thai Nguyen Province is coordinating with relevant agencies to investigate the scene and regulate traffic.

The initial cause was determined to be a sagging road surface that caused the truck to lose control. As of 3 p.m. the same day, the Hanoi - Thai Nguyen highway from Hanoi to Thai Nguyen was still partially blocked.
