Today is the last working day before workers enter the 3-day Hung Vuong Commemoration Day holiday.
According to Lao Dong newspaper reporters from around 4:30 p.m. this afternoon (September 4), the Khuat Duy Tien - Nguyen Xien - Nghiem Xuan Yem road towards Ngoc Hoi, going to the southern gateway of Hanoi, has a very large volume of traffic.

At the entrances to the elevated Ring Road 3, there was local congestion, especially at the entrance near the intersection of Thang Long - Khuat Duy Tien Avenue.
According to the reporter's records, there was a situation where passenger cars stopped to pick up passengers in front of the Thang Long Number One building (Khuat Duy Tien street), many people gathered here waiting to get on the bus to return home.
The fact that passenger buses stop and park makes traffic in this area even more chaotic.
Continuing to move on Khuat Duy Tien Street towards the Nguyen Trai - Nguyen Xien intersection, vehicles are moving at slow speeds and causing congestion at some locations, causing many people to regardlesslessly ride motorbikes on the sidewalk.
At the Nguyen Trai - Nguyen Xien intersection, vehicles move smoothly through the intersection. However, starting from the beginning of Nguyen Xien Street towards Nghiem Xuan Yem, vehicles had difficulty moving.
Notably, from the Nguyen Xien - Pham Tu - Nghiem Xuan Yem intersection to the Dau bridge area, there are many trucks parked on the road to sell goods, making it difficult for vehicles to move.
According to the actual records of the reporter, it took about 1 hour to travel the entire Nguyen Xien - Nghiem Xuan Yem road. In addition, there was a traffic conflict at Cau Dau intersection.
Currently, the red light at the intersection is waiting for nearly 100 seconds, while the green light is only about 30 seconds, causing vehicles to not be able to exit the intersection, leading to local congestion. Traffic police must be on duty to regulate and let vehicles move without signals to relieve congestion.

At nearly 6:00 p.m. at the Giai Phong - Phap Van intersection (Hoang Mai, Hanoi), from the city center to National Highway 1A to the provinces of Ha Nam, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh... the density of vehicles was very high, moving slowly.
According to the traffic police, vehicles heading to the southern gateway started to increase from around 4pm this afternoon (April 4). The number of vehicles pouring into the city's gateways is expected to continue to increase on the morning of April 5.
During the holidays, the Traffic Police force recommends that people travel at the right speed, in the right lane and especially not use alcohol or beer. Absolutely follow the instructions and regulations of the authorities when congestion occurs.
