On May 8, functional agencies of Gia Lai province are investigating the cause of a serious traffic accident at To Na Pass on National Highway 25.
The accident killed 1 person and seriously injured 2 others. The accident occurred at about 5:40 am on the same day at Km 110+500 m section passing through Phùm hamlet, Uar commune.
At the above time, passenger car BKS 77F-000.xx with 16 seats of Hung Phuong bus company driven by Mr. Tran Van Hau (born 1972, residing in Phu Tuc commune) traveling in the direction of Uar commune to Ia Sao commune lost control, overturned and plunged to the left side of the road.
As a result, Ms. V.T. H. (born 1951, residing in Phu Tuc commune) died. Mr. L.K. H. (born 1989) and N.V.H. (born 1980, both residing in Phu Tuc commune) were seriously injured and taken to Krong Pa Medical Center for emergency treatment.
It is known that at the time of the accident, there were 7 people in the car, including 5 passengers, 1 assistant driver and 1 driver. Through inspection, the police force determined that driver Hau had a D-class driver's license and had no alcohol concentration.
Initially, the cause of the accident was determined to be that the driver drove the car into a curve without controlling the speed, leading to loss of control.
